Dear Parents,
Thank you for your child's participation and hard work during the recent tryouts for the Dublin Middle School Stunt Team. We were incredibly impressed with the talent, enthusiasm, and dedication shown by all the athletes. The selection process was very competitive due to the high level of skill demonstrated.
While your child was not selected for the Stunt Team for the upcoming 2025-2026 season at this time, we want to emphasize that this is by no means the end of their cheer journey with competition cheer!! We strongly encourage them to continue developing their skills and passion for cheerleading.

How to Prepare Now:
To best prepare for the Game Day Building Team evaluations in August, and for future cheerleading opportunities, we recommend focusing on the following areas:
- Stunt Classes: If available, specialized stunt classes can help athletes understand the fundamentals of basing, flying, and spotting in a safe and structured environment. This builds technique, confidence, and teamwork.
- Strength and Conditioning Classes: Cheerleading, especially stunting, requires significant physical strength, endurance, and flexibility. Age-appropriate strength and conditioning programs can greatly enhance performance and help prevent injuries. Focus on core strength, leg power, and upper body stability.
- Tumbling Classes: Consistent tumbling practice is key to developing and perfecting skills like cartwheels, round-offs, back walkovers, and back handsprings. Look for local gyms that offer progressive tumbling programs.
